The Mysterious Black Knight Satellite – Who Really Owns It?

The Black Knight satellite is one of those space mysteries that will continue to perplex everyone. Back in the early 1950’s when it was first discovered, the U.S. thought it belonged to the Russians and the Russians thought it belonged to the U.S. Its discovery pre-dated man-made satellites launched in space, so its true ownership remains questionable. Consequently, many claimed it had to be of extraterrestrial origin operated by beings keeping tabs on us.

This story goes way back… In 1899, Nikola Tesla picked up unusual signals from an unknown source on his high-voltage receiver in Colorado Springs which he speculated were “intelligently controlled signals” that originated “from another world.” Astronomers have reported picking up similar radio signals since the 1930s. It was Dr. Lincoln La Paz, of the University of New Mexico, who first sighted the mysterious satellite-like object in 1953.

The U.S. Department of Defense commissioned astronomer Clyde Tombaugh to look for it. Word quickly spread and a famous article about the Black Knight was published in The St. Louis Dispatch and The San Francisco Examiner on May 14th 1954.

The story highlighted an interview with retired Marine Corps Major Donald E. Keyhole who stated that Earth was being circled by one or two artificial satellites. He added that government scientists at White Sands, New Mexico, were making every effort to locate and chart these satellites to determine origin.

This news article was written three years before Russia would launch the Earth’s first satellite, Sputnik 1, and the U.S. would follow a few years later with their own.

According to TIME Magazine on Monday, March 07, 1960:

“Three weeks ago, headlines announced that the U.S. had detected a mysterious “dark” satellite wheeling overhead on a regular orbit. There was nervous speculation that it might be a surveillance satellite launched by the Russians, and it brought the uneasy sensation that the U.S. did not know what was going on over its own head. But last week the Department of Defense proudly announced that the satellite had been identified. It was a space derelict, the remains of an Air Force Discoverer satellite that had gone astray.”

This was the Cold War Era and the beginning of the age of spy satellites. Both NASA and the Pentagon quickly claimed it was space debris from their early Discoverer satellite program. The Discoverer V program was covertly part of the “Corona Project.” It was one of the first U.S. classified spy satellites in space during the Cold War with Russia. Only one problem with this explanation. Neither the U.S., nor the Russians had the capability for Polar Orbit when the Black Knight was spotted during 1953, and the first Corona launch attempt did not occur until August 13, 1959 where it fell to Earth on September 28, 1959. A successful launch would not come until 1960—so they claim.

It is interesting to note that on the heels of the Black Knight discovery, both the U.S. and Russia quickly got into the space reconnaissance business. Were they trying to get equipment up there and see for themselves what this strange alien-based satellite was doing?

According to Ancient-Code.com, an Ancient Astronauts Theory website:

“Interest in the Black Knight was higher each year. In 1957, an unknown “object” was seen “shadowing” the Sputnik 1 spacecraft. According to reports, the “unidentified object” was in polar orbit, at that time. The United States nor the Russians possessed the technology to maintain a spacecraft in polar orbit. According to our research the first polar-orbiting satellite was launched in 1960. Polar orbits are often used for earth-mapping, earth observation, capturing the earth as time passes from one point and reconnaissance satellites. This would put the Black Knight in the category of an observational satellite. The only question here is, who placed the Black Knight in a polar orbit and for what purpose?

The object continued to amaze astronomers world-wide. In the 1960’s the Black Knight was located once again in polar orbit. Astronomers and scientists calculated the object’s weight to be over 10 tons, which would be at that time the heaviest artificial satellite to orbit our planet. The Black Knight’s orbit was unlike any other object orbiting Earth, as it was moving twice as fast when compared to any other man-made spacecraft.

There are also several reports that the Grumman Aircraft Corporation gave much importance to this mysterious “Satellite.” On September 3, 1960, seven months after the satellite was first detected by radar, a tracking camera at Grumman Aircraft Corporation’s Long Island factory took a photograph of the Black Knight. At that point people all over the world started identifying the object in the sky, which could be seen as a red light moving at higher speed compared to other satellites in an East to West orbit. The Grumman Aircraft Corporation formed a committee to study the data received from the observations made but nothing was made public.

In 1963, U.S. Astronaut Gordon Cooper was launched into space. On his final orbit, he reported seeing a glowing green object in front of his capsule in the distance moving towards his Spacecraft. The Muchea tracking station, in Australia, which Cooper reported the object to, picked up this unidentified object on radar travelling East to West. NBC reported this but after Cooper returned to Earth, the reporters were not allowed to ask Cooper about the unidentified object. The official explanation given to Cooper’s sighting was “high levels of carbon dioxide, which caused hallucinations.“

Even though Cooper was known to be sympathetic to the UFO disclosure movement, he later recanted his initial report. One can only surmise his admission really pissed off someone at NASA.

After all this time, one wonders why NASA and/or the Russians haven’t tried to capture this mysterious satellite and put speculation to rest. The American Space Shuttle has a payload to polar-orbit launch capacity of about 14 tons, and payload recovery capability of about 16 tons. Depending on the physical volume of the Black Knight satellite, it is conceivable that the object might have been recovered and returned to Earth during one of the classified missions of the shuttle. Then again, perhaps they have already attempted this. Maybe they even know the satellite’s true origin. If so, they’re not telling us and the information will most likely remain classified.

The object is still believed to be in Orbit to this day. NASA’s explanation to what the object is has changed several times and some stories have often been fused together. NASA also claims the object is a thermal blanket that got loose during the STS-88 space mission in 1998. But that mission was long after the first sighting of the Black Knight. While this thermal blanket is probably up there floating in space somewhere, along with other space junk, to explain it as the Black Knight is really a stretch.

Right now there are somewhere in the neighborhood of 100,000 man-made objects orbiting Earth. Some are multi-billion dollar military satellites, or telecomm satellites or even scientific instruments. Most are space junk off of old spacecraft and/or dead satellites. Yes, we have even polluted outer space with our garbage.

There are reports the Black Knight was spotted near the moon by the International Space Station (ISS) crew, but I haven’t seen the pics. One day this satellite enigma will finally be solved. Are we indeed being watched? One of Nostradamus’ prophecies seems to certainly suggest this. Time will tell.

A Remote Viewer Takes a Look at Planet X

For so many years I had heard reports of a mysterious 9th or 10th planet in deep space (if you still count Pluto as a planet) commonly referred to as “Planet X” or “Niburu” (meaning the bright star of the crossing). Mainstream scientists and government agencies were quick to dismiss the possibility of this unknown planet as sheer “quackery.” But due to some recent findings, those same scientists are now having to eat a little crow.

The new evidence comes from a pair of respected planetary scientists, Konstantin Batygin and Mike Brown of the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena, who prepared for the inevitable skepticism with detailed analyses of the orbits of other distant objects and months of computer simulations. Their findings point to data that something bigger than the size of Earth lurks in our outer solar system and its gravitational pull is affecting other planets and ultimately Earth weather.

“If you say, ‘We have evidence for Planet X,’ almost any astronomer will say, ‘This again? These guys are clearly crazy.’ I would, too,” Brown says. “Why is this different? This is different because this time we’re right.”

But without being able to clearly see this mysterious Planet X through a telescope, will the rest of the scientific community believe them?

This blog is not another science article. I’ll leave that to the experts. I was more curious if, indeed, anything was out there and why so many countries in the world had suddenly started building large telescopes about 10 years ago to view our outer solar system. Even the Vatican invested in two large telescopes, one named Lucifer. Did they know something they weren’t telling us? Were they taking seriously the biblical prophecies about the 3,600 year return of the planet called Wormwood aka Planet X? This celestial “star” was said to have caused the pole shift that brought about the Great Flood and destroyed many civilizations as well as the dinosaurs centuries ago.

As a sometime remote viewer, who learned the art from Russell Targ who, along with Hal Puthoff, headed up the Stanford Research Institute’s (SRI) remote viewing program for the CIA’s Stargate Project, I knew it was time to take a look at Planet X for myself.

In the past few years I’ve discovered some rather unexplainable and unusual objects in space while remote viewing that are clearly not “ours” (read Stargate Journeys and Consciousness Assisted Technology blogs). Sometimes you get a treasure trove of info and sometimes nothing. It was worth a shot, so I sat down meditated and sent my mind to the outer reaches of space looking for answers to the great mystery of Planet X.

What did I find? Well, there is indeed a very large object out there. It’s not a planet, but it looks and behaves much like a planet. I felt immediately dizzy-headed upon approaching it. There is a magnetic gravitational flux that feels both expelling and contracting at the same time. I’ll let the scientists figure out what this all means, but there is also a deep resonant sound vibration you can feel, which made me aware that this planet-like object felt both alive and teeming internally with life.

Sometimes when remote viewing with your mind, there is an all-knowing feeling. Telepathic awareness kicks in. I knew then that the object was really a mammoth planetary space vehicle, despite its outward barren appearance. While this totally surprised me, it also sparked my intense interest.

I zeroed in on its interior. It was hollowed out, vast, beyond the size of several large cities and multi-layered. I found myself inexplicably drawn to a large chamber where I saw giant human-like beings—12-15 feet in stature. Several of these beings had red hair. I was aware that I had poked in during a rather heated discussion. Immediately I felt a sudden sharp mental push as if I had been discovered and psychically kicked out. But the odd thing is that whoever had mentally pushed me out, had left a mental imprint behind that contained a myriad of images and thoughts which I was able to glean some information from.

Planet X is not a Galactic Federation spaceship, as might be seen in a Star Wars movie. I got a strong “No” when I mentally inquired. This is an “ancestor” ship. I call it this because this race of beings inside have been around longer than prehistoric man on Earth and they are not strangers to our planet. They know all about us and once walked our lands. I got the impression that they don’t think very highly of us. Despite this, there appears to be factions of their race that are in disagreement about the best way to interact with Earth humans.

The interesting thing is that they find themselves in a dilemma. Many of their kind see us as a threat to their survival, much as we would see them to ours. They, like us, are also on an evolutionary path with regard to service to self vs. service to others. There are those of their race that want to help us while others want to destroy us to save themselves. It’s clearly a karmic dilemma, and it appears we on Earth are going through the same soul learning process. This is why are paths are destined to intersect.

It appears that their planet-like spaceship somehow got locked into a strange orbit (due to an explosion with some other planet a very long time ago) that doesn’t always allow full control of their vehicle’s trajectory. As their orbit comes closer to Earth they know they will be bombarded by the same gravitational pull that Earth is bound to also experience by coming into close proximity to them. Some on-board fear annihilation unless they take aggressive action. Others disagree. While they appear to have smaller space vehicles that can exit their planetary vehicle at any time, they don’t want to be trapped on Earth. Sound fantastic? I thought so, too, but these are the impressions I received. Whether they are accurate, is yet to be determined. I encourage other remote viewers to see what they pick up as well.

Who really knows if our two worlds will eventually collide. So many have predicted this would happen in 2003, then again in 2012, and now in 2016. It hasn’t happened yet, and perhaps it never will, but awareness that we are not alone in the universe is definitely increasing. The visibility of Planet X will eventually be evident in the skies to all, in time, as it orbits closer. Some believe this is why the CIA recently released some of their UFO files, preparing for Disclosure. Perhaps Planet X’s ultimate purpose in revealing itself is to awaken us to our true past.

The future is still being written, so I will not get into spreading additional fear about what will or will not occur. There’s enough fear in the world already and even if we were on a crash course with Planet X, not much either side can do about it, so just enjoy life now.

What I find more fascinating is that it appears these beings brought early life to this planet. They are our ancestors. Are they the Annunaki race the ancient Sumerian texts refer as the celestial Gods from the sky who were masters of DNA and genetic manipulation?

Planet X was once big news in the mainstream media in the early 1980’s, then suddenly all mention of it disappeared. Those who mentioned it were quickly ridiculed, which tells us they must have been too close to the truth. I like to think that everything in the universe is subject to change, and everything is right on schedule. Now, at last, appears to be the right time to take a second look at Planet X.

2016 Year of the Fire Monkey – A Year of Political Revolution?

The Chinese Year of the Fire Monkey occurs every 60 years and only once every 240 years when Pluto is transiting Capricorn as it was in 1776 during the birth of the American Republic. Hence, the planet’s first constitutional republic is on the verge of a world-changing rebirth in 2016.

Not only is 2016 the Year of the Fire Monkey, the first 9 months of this year overlap with the Super Shemitah which continues until October 2. This unique synchronicity of potent calendrical influences effectively super-charges the entire year. The impacts of this particular Super Shemitah will be especially powerful because the planned events for the 2015 Shemitah year did not occur. In fact, they were quite deliberately postponed by those who control them. That has never happened before.

The 7 year Shemitah cycle has invariably brought economic collapses and/or financial crashes which have distinguished it as an excellent predictive tool. Because the whole world had advance notice of this phenomenon in 2015, the scheduled events were substantially diminished in their severity. Nevertheless, the full effects of the Super Shemitah cannot be prevented, as the fixed times of the Moedim are immovable.

Throughout the earthly realm the Internet has seen to it that the masses are much better informed than previous eras. What has become clear in 2016 is that the whole marketplace now knows that the markets — ALL OF THEM — are completely rigged. They have always been rigged. The stock and bond, currency and commodity, real estate and insurance, derivative and carbon markets are not only rigged, they mutually support and interpenetrate each other in order to artificially keep them all inflated.

The high-paid con men running this worldwide confidence game on people everywhere have been found out. They have no more street credibility at all. Therefore, all the debts which were incurred in the process of playing this fixed game are effectively null and void. Inasmuch as they have not yet been forgiven by the preordained release from indebtedness dictated by the Shemitah, the debt bondage will be terminated one way or another. The Year of the Fire Monkey will see to that.

Pluto in Capricorn

Pluto is now crashing through Capricorn until 2024 as it has been since 2008. The fact that the American Republic is revisiting these very same celestial alignments, which last occurred during the Revolutionary War period, is reflected in events jumping off everywhere around the country and the world. There has never been such a revolutionary fervor among the American people since the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776.

There are some significant similarities between 1776 and 2016 which are as compelling as they are instructive. The 13 colonies were a hotbed of revolutionary fervor back in the 1770s, just as the 50 states are at the present time. Where independence fever was running at its highest in 1776, the presidential election of 2016 may see the American people rise up against an exceedingly corrupt and incorrigible U.S. Federal Government.

Increasingly, many folks — rich and poor, white and black, conservative and liberal, religious and atheist — are expressing their desire to be liberated from the overbearing and often malevolent U.S. Federal Government. Emancipation from the current spying and security apparatus that was put into place by another ‘King’ George post 9/11 is also sought by many.

This state of affairs is exacerbating by the day and will come to a head sooner or later. Neither of the forces which are confronting each other will back down. Both the U.S. Federal Government, and the American patriots who legitimately question its unconstitutional authority, are determined to prevail in this epic battle for the soul of the nation. Truly, the USA is at a defining moment—a critical point that may very well determine its continuation as a sovereign nation comprised of 50 states.

Add to these highly consequential calendrical overlaps some other powerful convergences and 2016 has the makings for political, economic and social revolution. What is also poised to transpire is a profound and fundamental transformation of the entire planetary civilization. That’s because of the dramatic effects that the Fire Monkey-borne USA has on the rest of the world. In other words, when the United States sneezes, many other nations come down with pneumonia.

The 2016 U.S. Presidential Election

Nothing captures the revolutionary energies of the Red Fire Monkey like the upcoming presidential election. Even before 2016 began, this campaign season has been a roller coaster ride like never experienced before. Whereas Donald Trump is the quintessential Fire Monkey on the Republican side, Bernie Sanders represents the same on the Democrat side. Both of these candidates have wrecked and ruined the carefully laid plans of their respective party leadership in ways not seen in presidential politics.

The debate debacles and primary fiascos are just the beginning of what will be the most captivating and entertaining campaign season in U.S. history. The Red Fire Monkey only knows how to manifest in this fashion. After all, monkeys are forever the most dramatic and mischievous, incorrigible and irrepressible among all the animals in the jungle. Now put that same monkey on steroids and you have the unbeatable Fire Monkey. Those who are wise to this reality don’t even try to beat him; they just sit back and watch the show.

There is one thing that can be said with absolute certainty about the Fire Monkey and that is you don’t want to tangle with him when he is in his element and in his year. They are not only exceedingly capable and competent, they are irresistibly charming and highly impressive. They can also be shrewd and calculating to the extreme when up against a formidable foe. However, it is their utter unpredictability and uncanny spontaneity which set them apart from their 11 counterparts. They don’t even know what they’ll do next whenever they find themselves in a real jam.

The power-players and power-brokers in Washington D.C. do not yet know it, but they are now up against the fierce and fearsome Fire Monkey. They will undoubtedly underestimate this unassuming fellow because the depth of his ingenuity and cunning is unrivaled across the realm. This is why even Lord Rama relied upon the extraordinary resourcefulness and dexterity of his devotee Hanuman to save his armies from certain defeat.

Here’s what happened the last time the spirit of the Fire Monkey went up against the greatest army and navy on Earth while Pluto was careening through Capricorn.

Certainly the English Generals and their mercenary armies did not fare well when Pluto was barreling through Capricorn during the Revolutionary War period. When the most powerful navy and best equipped infantry on Earth are defeated by roving ragtag bands of Minutemen, there must have been far greater forces at work than the once almighty British Empire. And so there were.
(2016: A Year of Super Convergence and Awesome Consequence)

The upcoming revolution against the U.S. Federal Government by the American people is quite similar to the first revolution against the British Crown. This is what 2016 is all about. The U.S. citizenry is being compelled to take back their power from a rogue criminal government that has stolen it. The 50 states are likewise being challenged to take back their state rights explicitly provided by the U.S. Constitution. It is time for those states to exert their lawful authority where the federal government has unconstitutionally arrogated it unto itself.

Conclusion

2016 has been ordained by the heavens as the year of radical global transformation. Only the Year of the Red Fire Monkey can guarantee such a necessary outcome. Because the Year of the Red Fire Monkey possesses all the right qualities necessary to tame the out-of-control American Fire Monkey, this year will empower those who join the fight. This is the year when the American people can fight fire with fire.

More appropriately, 2016 is the year when the Truth Movement will merge with the Patriot Movement to form an overwhelming force. The falsehoods of the FEDs have been exposed for the whole world to see. In Putin’s Russia the American people have once more found a true friend. Not only has President Putin exposed that the U.S. Government created and sustains ISIS terrorism, the Kremlin has periodically released 9/11 truth which proves unequivocally that 9/11 was an inside job set up and covered up by the FEDs.

CAVEAT:
When 5 million Oathkeepers and armed militia surround the Capitol Building one day and force out the entire Congress, the place will change in a New York minute. When the American people install a provisional government, the White House will finally be taken back from those who misappropriated it. This is the kind of potential that the Year of the Red Fire Monkey holds. Will the U.S. citizenry use it or lose it? The whole world waits with anxious anticipation … and optimistic apprehension.

MKULTRA: What I Learned About Mind Control from Clients

Back in the 1990’s I had a psychotherapy practice in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Since the area was home to the U.S. Atlantic Fleet, I saw many patients from military families. My clinical specialty was Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), which is how I came to treat two women who had been part of an experimental and secret government mind control program dating back to the 1950’s.

Neither woman knew of or had met the other, and both had been referred to me at different times over a two year period. Yet, the information that came to light for both was so similar that it couldn’t be dismissed as delusional fabrication.

Both women claimed that they had been used during childhood for covert spying by some faction of the U.S. government. This was done by creating dissociative identities, as children, to safeguard classified information that would then be delivered by the child and its handler. I would later have a name for this program and its various offshoots. They were all part of what is now known as the “Mother of all Mind Control” CIA programs—Project MKULTRA along with the subprogram PROJECT MONARCH.

Because most MKULTRA records were deliberately destroyed in 1973 by order of then CIA director Richard Helms, it has been difficult, if not impossible, to gain a complete understanding of the more than 150 individually funded research sub-projects sponsored by MKULTRA and other related CIA programs. But the damage lives on.

Both women I saw were involuntarily recruited before the age of eight. This is an important factor. The personality is still forming and has more plasticity before age seven. Severe physical, emotional, and/or sexual abuse before that age will have profound effects on the laying down of neuronal pathways as well as how memory is stored. Multiple personality disorder happens during childhood as a defense coping mechanism to deal with trauma. Despite public or medical opinion, it is not rare. This dysfunctional coping mechanism may become more noticeable during adulthood, but it starts in childhood, not in one’s adult years. This personality split off into an alter personality occurs to save the child from ego annihilation and insanity. In their eyes, it happened to someone else (the alter personality), not them.

Alter personalities can be induced under the right circumstances at a young age, and the people behind MKULTRA had to have known this in order to create covert childhood spies. What better way to transport information then hide it inside a child alter’s mind, which could only be retrieved on the other end by hypnosis or some other de-programming means. Who would suspect a child or take them seriously? It was quite a diabolical plan.

My clients’ stories had so many similarities, it was beyond mere coincidence:

Both women were born and raised in Virginia and came from military families where a family member was involved in military intelligence work. This keeps the test subject close to home and able to be easily monitored. Oftentimes, a military family member becomes their “handler” and the one who transports them to and from an information retrieval operator.

Both women had memories of sexual abuse by participants in MKULTRA. (These memories were not retrieved under hypnosis.) They both claimed to have been sexually abused by Richard Nixon, Henry Kissinger, George Bush, Sr., Ronald Reagan and Bob Hope. This sounds totally implausible, unless those doing the abuse wore realistic masks to protect their identity. Picking famous people to hide behind, guarantees the victims will never be believed later, should they tell. (But then again, I may be wrong, and some of these luminaries may have been complicit in this secretive government program. Time will tell as what is hidden or Dark eventually is unmasked by the Light. )

Both drew similar pictures of equipment and/or devices used “to not tell.” Phallic symbols, drugs, and poker-like instruments “that burned” seemed to be prevalent.

When each women came close to revealing something secret and/or taboo, suddenly a new personality would come out and shut down the whole process. In the dissociative field, these are known as “scrambler personalities.” They are programmed into the person’s mind to block off memories and, sometimes, even report back to a handler for re-programming.

Each women remembers being taken on night-time trips by a handler, or nice person, to meet someone in a distant place. Sometimes air travel was involved. Sometimes they remembered where they were taken, other times they only remembered being returned home after a blank period of time away.

Both feared for their life by seeking therapeutic help.

Let me just preface here that I don’t know any military secrets and both these women were too damaged and psychologically tortured to stay in treatment. They each had a fear of being punished for “telling,” which was undoubtedly part of their mind control programming. I am not the only therapist to have encountered these types of stories. The victims are still out there, but are now adults with severe psychological problems. Over the years I’ve heard enough strange stories in my therapy office to not readily dismiss such claims. Some have proven to be true.

There was no secondary gain for either of the women trying to obtain help. They were plagued with nightmares and memories trying to bleed through to the surface after so many years of holding their secrets. While MKULTRA was allegedly shut down in 1973, it hasn’t stopped other mind control related work by our government.

Many experiments dealing with the disruption of brain function for human control are still very much real:

Scientists are researching the construction of super soldiers that feel no pain, terror and do not suffer from fatigue. The Pentagon allocated $400 million to this research.

Scientists are using electrodes to direct people’s movements by sending a signal from a mobile phone, which stimulates a muscle in the leg, showing them the direction they need to go in. They claim it is to replace the need for an external GPS program. I sure hope the Apple Watch doesn’t have this hidden program installed.

A DARPA program conducted by The Center for Strategic Communication at Arizona State University experimented with “Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation” (TMS) to remotely combat dissent and extremism. TMS stimulates the temporal lobe of the brain with electromagnetic fields in order to “turn off” reactive centers in the brain. While those in the psychology field may use such experimentation to help combat depression and anxiety, DARPA’s sole goal has always been for defense and weaponry use.

I once worked for an altered-states research lab in Northern California which used alpha brainwave entrainment programs for consciousness exploration. I learned that the institute had been coerced into training several elite Green Berets groups for mind control or, as the military termed it “affecting one-mind cooperation in the field.”

One only has to look around to see the signs that we are already slaves to mind control. We sit in front of TVs for hours being bombarded by messages, both subliminal and overt to buy products, take drugs, or show us what we are missing or might never have. We become immune to violence and killings. We are glued to our mobile devices, whipping them out at the first second of inactivity, to amuse and district us from life going on all around us.

Can we escape it all? We can certainly try.

Zika Virus – What They Are Not Telling You

The recent outbreak of Zika virus in Brazil is now being linked to genetically modified mosquitoes developed by the British biotech company Oxitec, which is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Oxitec has been releasing the genetically modified Aedes mosquitoes into the wild in Brazil since 2011 to battle dengue fever. The company produces up two million genetically modified mosquitoes a week in its factory in Campinas, Brazil.

The Aedes aegypti mosquito is the world’s most dominant variety of mosquito, and the only two countries in the Americas that don’t have this mosquito are Chile and Canada. The Zika virus, which has been detected in 18 of the 26 states in Brazil, is transmitted by the Aedes mosquito.

Over 4,000 babies have now been born in Brazil with shrunken brains since November 1, 2015. Brazil normally gets approximately 150 cases of this type of birth defect each year, which means abnormal births of this type have increased by approximately 13,000 percent. (New reports from NBC news state these counts have been exaggerated and are far less.) In 2015, Puerto Rico also began giving the same Tdap shot to pregnant mothers that Brazil did and the incidence of brain damaged babies has increased exponentially.

While the Brazilian government initially rushed to blame the Zika virus for a huge rise in abnormal birth defects, health officials in the country are now quietly admitting Zika is not solely responsible for this rise in birth defects. Only a small number of babies with birth defects, who died, had the virus in their brain or in the mother’s placenta. This means a large number of the babies who died had no Zika virus in their brain. Hard to blame Zika then, which has been around since before 1948 and has never been known to cause birth defects and/or death. In fact, Zika makes only one in five people get “mildly” sick with flu-like symptoms, with no symptoms at all in 4 out of 5 people. So why are they quick to blame a generally benign Zika virus?

In late 2014, the Brazilian minister of health announced that a “newly formulated” Tdap shot would be mandatory for all expectant mothers starting in 2015. Since it’s mandatory, mothers with birth defect babies received this newly formulated vaccine while pregnant. The timeliness of the Tdap vaccine and the sudden rise in birth defects is more than just a little coincidental. The consequences of this untested vaccine is being swept under the rug. Which brings us once again to Bill Gates, the King of Eugenics and Vaccines—two diametrically opposed positions.

In 2015 the Vanderbilt Vaccine Research Program, received a $307,000 grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to study the immune responses of pregnant women who receive the Tdap (reduced-dose acellular pertussis vaccines combined with tetanus and diphtheria toxoids) vaccine. One cannot find the raw results.

In 2011, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) issued a recommendation that pregnant women receive the Tdap shot at 20 weeks gestation. Tdap combines the Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (whooping-cough) vaccines into a single jab. The Tdap shot has never been proven safe for use during pregnancy. In fact, Tdap is classified by the FDA as a Class C drug indicating it is NOT A SAFE CHOICE during pregnancy. This may be a no-brainer, but is any vaccine a safe choice to administer to a fragile developing fetus?

FACT: Drug companies did not test the safety and effectiveness of giving influenza or Tdap vaccine to pregnant women before the vaccines were licensed in the U.S. and there is almost no data on inflammatory or other biological responses to these vaccines that could affect pregnancy and birth outcomes. There are ingredients in influenza and pertussis containing Tdap vaccines that have not been fully evaluated for potential genotoxic or other adverse effects on the human fetus developing in the womb that may negatively affect health after birth, including aluminum adjuvants, mercury containing (Thimerosal) preservatives and many more bioactive and potentially toxic ingredients.

Is it any wonder there was a rush to place the birth defect epidemic blame elsewhere? The fact that Brazil subjected its pregnant women to such a mandatory untested vaccine is genocidal, and now they know it. They bought the kool-aid without doing the precautionary research. Or perhaps they received enough money to look the other way. Consequently, the United States is now pushing to develop a vaccine for the Zika virus. Haven’t we been down this road before with mainstream media’s Ebola scares and the predictable rush to capitalize on a lucrative vaccine for all those in fear for their life (which they already had waiting in the wings)?

To make matters worse, Brazil says they will mobilize 220,000 soldiers to fight the Zika virus. Soldiers are being ordered to go door-to-door to spray insecticides in neighborhoods to help kill mosquitoes. Toxic insecticide spraying around pregnant women and children? Are they insane? To compound the insanity further… The government says it will distribute mosquito repellent to some 400,000 pregnant women who receive cash-transfer benefits. Officials in El Salvador, Colombia and Brazil have also suggested women stop getting pregnant until the crisis has passed. Now, there’s a definite win for Bill Gates’ population control agenda. Just scare people into avoiding sex and getting pregnant. In fact, recently they suggested that the Zika virus “might be” a sexually transmitted disease, just because it was found in one man’s semen who had the Zika virus. They can try to plant the seeds of deadly fear once again, but don’t you believe a word of such nonsense.

Pressure is building on the World Health Organization to declare Zika an emergency of international concern. Under the International Health Regulations, Director General Dr. Margaret Chan can establish an emergency committee, which can green light global vaccination campaigns with experimental vaccines. Are you getting the picture?

There’s more to this story… Now, scientists in Brazil are studying genetic sequences of mosquitoes allegedly transmitting the Zika virus and other diseases to see whether changes have occurred that could have generated mutant mosquitoes. The mosquito Gates released was likely to be a long-term dream of his he had for forced birth control and forced vaccinations, which he has been working on since 2003.

In the forced vaccination scenario, the mosquitoes are genetically programmed to produce the “vaccine” permanently once released into the environment, so they would not have to release new mosquitoes EVER again. Their effects would simply become part of nature.

This means that at some time in your life you and everyone else is bound to be bitten by a mosquito created by Bill Gates. God help us all!

Deflecting Psychic Attacks, Empowering One’s Light

In the last few weeks, I have encountered several highly intuitive healers all tell me that they feel they are under some kind of psychic attack from something or someone trying to prevent the Light work they are doing. No, they’re probably not imagining it, which is why I think this is an important issue.

While the entire cosmos is being flooded with increased radiant light to facilitate man’s awakening, dark forces are working overtime to prevent and subvert this very process from happening in any way possible. Their way is dying and they believe they have nothing else to lose. When you encounter a force that feels they have nothing else to lose, they will usually pull out all the stops.

To start, sometimes the psychic attack comes from someone we know, perhaps even a friend or family member. It may be intentional or unintentional. They are angry with you. What they feel and think forms a thought entity. Whether consciously or unconsciously, this thought form can bombard you with powerful negative energy which can affect your etheric physical body, your emotional astral body, your mental body, and your spirit.

If you’ve ever made a powerful enemy, especially one who has dappled in black magic and is hell-bent on revenge, then know that strong fortification is called for or it can wreck serious damage. Since I have experienced this from a former colleague I had to severe all ties to, I know what this can feel like when psychic retaliation is suddenly turned on you. Thinking positive thoughts is simply not enough.

But before we get into some psychic self-defense techniques, let me say that sending negative or harmful energy to anyone always has an eventual boomerang effect, not to mention incurring some heavy-duty soul karma. Don’t even think about it, no matter how much you dislike the person, group, or entities coming after you. Send them love and light and hope that the darkness they have invited in will leave and they can see objectively again. Never forget that evil is repulsed by Love and Light. It is one of the basic Laws of Attraction.

If one’s psychic attacker refuses to let go of their target, they will eventually mentally destroy themselves bringing on their own form of insanity, possibly even psychic possession. The former colleague I referred to was one of those individuals who wouldn’t let go and, unfortunately, suffered a strange accident where they sustained severe ligament injury. No one likes to hear of another’s misfortune. Karma works in mysterious ways and there are repercussions. Hate is the great destroyer. What you direct or do towards others, you eventually do to yourself.

That being said, how does one fight the forces of evil? Some psychic self-defense is clearly called for. I first use an energetic device I created called Trinfinity8 to set up a field of protection. It works well with entity removal, psychic attacks, even house spirits. But not everyone has a Trinfinity8, so I’ve listed other effective techniques which can be used to stand alone or supplement Trinfinity8 use.

Auric Shielding is Key. The aura that surrounds the human body is your personal energy field made up of several layers that affect your mental, physical and spiritual health. It can be penetrated and breached, just like a border control fence. Your own fears and doubts weaken it, just as much as being bombarded by others repeated negativity or ill will. You need to close off your aura from invasion by practicing some body defense and empowering your own light. One easy one way is to press the tongue to the upper palate and clasp both hands together. This immediately seals the energy circuit, helps increase your auric field, while also conserving your energy. Kirlian photography actually show the auric field expand when this is practiced.

There are many types of unbreakable etheric auric fields that can be placed around your body for 12 to 24 hour protection. I highly recommend the book: Practical Psychic Self-Defense for Home and Office to learn how to initiate this and more advanced techniques.

Pranic Breathing to Increase Warrior Energy. This is done through deep abdominal breathing. Some have different techniques, but one I like is to slowly inhale for seven counts, filling the abdomen with breath, then hold for one count. This is quickly followed by a slow exhale for seven counts and holding for one count. This practice, known as the “7-1-7-1 technique,” can be repeated seven times.

Meditation & Prayer are Powerful Tools. Meditation not only clears the mind, but brings in spiritual energy and insight. To release your enemy and/or any negative thought forms, you will have to practice the law of forgiveness and mercy. To do this, stay heart-centered. Send the person blessings of “peace be with you”. Visualize cutting the psychic link that connects you. Call on God or another powerful spiritual deity for Light and assistance. Repeat daily. The heart is the great cleanser. It has the power to heal both you and your enemy. It doesn’t mean you have to suddenly start liking the person, just remaining neutral and seeing that on a spiritual level you have both contracted for this mutual learning lesson, painful though it may be.

Crystals Can Be Programmed to Neutralize Negativity. Crystals can absorb negative energy, while strengthening the aura and the chakra energy system. One can wear a crystal on their body in the form of jewelry (rings, pendants, etc.), or place it in the office, bedroom, and/or other living areas. Make sure you cleanse your crystal every few days with sea salt water to release any negativity if you are using it as a self-defense tool. I like to charge crystals with intent and prayer to make them even more powerful. They are working for you. They can even be used with an auric shield to divert any negative attack directed towards you. It’s what might be called a self-defense “call forwarding” target.

Mirrors Deflect Negative Thought Forms. Last year I purchased a large concave mirror for a science experiment I was conducting. Upon seeing it, a psychic friend told me mirrors are also great deflectors of negative energy if you paste a picture of yourself to the back of a mirror. While this may appear to be deflecting negative energy back out into the universe to deal with it as it may, it can also send bad energy back to the sender. You don’t want the karma of hurting someone, so if you should apply this technique, put a prayer for peace and/or love on the mirror. It will not only neutralize the negative energy coming at you, but send light back to the sender to hopefully dissolve their negative thoughts. Whether it be written intent for peace or something like the 23rd Psalm, both are more effective then just sending back negative energy.

Sage Clears Your Home and Office. Burning sage or sandalwood incense weekly can also be very helpful. Open outside doors and windows to let out bad energy and bring in fresh air. Walk through your space with the sage, move it into corners and dark spots, and invoke the Light to safeguard your space.

Warm Epsom Salt Baths Release Negativity. If you need to release negativity, especially anxiety and fear, take a warm Epsom salt bath which provides a deep cleansing effect. Use approximately one cup of Epsom salts in a tub of water and soak for 10 minutes. If you soak too long you will feel weakened and will need to immediately eat higher vibrational food to replenish yourself.

Divine Alignment Oil. Anoint your third eye (forehead) and palm chakras daily with this sacred essential oil. Your body is your temple and this oil has been specially programmed to ward off undesirable elements while activating both the pineal and crown chakras. Here is the link: Divine Alignment Oil

This is only a small fraction of helpful psychic self-defense tools one can use. You owe it to yourself to protect your energy body, just as you would protect your physical body from harm. Stay safe and may the Divine Light always be with you!

TGA: Hidden Human Memory States

They say we are the sum of our memories, shaping our lives to be who we think we are. But what if our memory suddenly exits into a black hole and everything about an event, even days we’ve lived, become irretrievable for years—maybe even forever? Such an amnesic state would make sense if one was perhaps doing excessive drugs, alcohol, suffered a brain injury and/or a blackout event.

In the case of Transient Global Amnesia (TGA), none of these factors are the case. One minute you’re a coherent fully functioning human being, then the next minute, without warning, you can’t remember much of anything you were just doing. In 2003, this happened to my older sister upon the death of our father.

Even with my clinical psychology background, and a specialty in both Dissociative Identify Disorder and Neurofeedback, I had never once come across a client with a TGA history. I certainly knew about amnesia, but TGA was not written about in any of the clinical textbooks I studied. It’s rare. So I wasn’t prepared with how to deal with it the day we buried my father.

With my sister’s permission, I retell this story… Having just left the funeral parlor, 10 members of my family got into a stretch limousine for the short drive to the church for the memorial mass. My sister and I sat in the back seat, both of us lost in our thoughts as we stared out the side window at the passing summer foliage. Suddenly she looked ahead, saw the hearse in front of us, and said to me, “Who died?”

I thought I had misheard her. “What?” I asked. “Who died?” she insisted, clearly puzzled.

“Dad died,” I answered, annoyed she was asking such a preposterous question. Panic overtook her face. “Dad, died!?” she screamed. “Why didn’t anyone tell me?”

My face must have registered equal shock. “You were the one that called me with the news!”

She shook her head, in disbelief. “How did he die?” she demanded. I told her. A fall to the head at the family’s Wisconsin vacation home, then being airlifted to a Milwaukee Hospital for tests, where he unexpectedly died of a brain aneurism in his sleep at the age of 82.

Everyone in the limousine quietly witnessed our bizarre exchange. Years of clinical training finally kicked in. I asked her what her name was. She looked at me indignantly, like I had lost my mind asking such a ridiculous question. “I know what my name is!” she protested. I prompted her to tell me anyway, just to make sure. She answered correctly.

“Okay. What year is it?” I followed with. “It’s 2001,” she answered, clearly two years off. I had a sick feeling inside.

“Who is the President of the United States?” Her answer: “Bill Clinton.” At hearing this, her husband turned around in the front seat and looked at her aghast. In fact, so did everyone else. George W. Bush was then president. Something was seriously wrong.

I must admit I even tried to coax her into the right answer. “You know, the president who got us into the Iraq war,” I prompted. She looked at me blankly. Dead silence. Everyone waited to see how I would handle this dilemma—afterall, I was the therapist. I had no idea what to do. I didn’t know what was happening to her. I just wanted to be left alone to grieve my father’s passing without having to be “on duty.”

My cousin, from New York, turned to me at that point and offered her prescription Ativan, an anti-anxiety benzodiazepine. I had no idea she was even taking such medications. I waved away the suggestion, knowing it could possibly make the situation worse.

Just as we pulled up to the church, my sister turned to me and again asked, “Who died?” She had forgotten again? I hurriedly told her, seeing the distress happen a second time at hearing the news. While a crowd stood outside the church waiting for the immediate family to exit the lead car, no one inside the limousine was able to move. What to do?

My mother never said a word. She had her own grief to deal with. I was on my own to deal with my sister. I pulled her out of the limousine and remember hauling her against a tree trunk hoping that somehow it would miraculously ground her memory to reality. I whispered in her ear something totally untherapeutic. “Snap out of it now! For Mom!” I hissed, hoping no one could hear. She nodded and quietly walked with me into the church behind my father’s casket. The family looked relieved.

I sat next to my sister in the front row, silently watching the priest bless the casket. Then on some mysterious cue, my sister turned to me, and like a bad Abbott and Costello skit, once again voiced that terrible question, “Who died?” I tried to put off the inevitable by saying, “Sshh. I’ll tell you later,” but she was not to be deterred and insisted on knowing.

Throughout the day everyone in the family moved away from her, so as not to be caught in the net of continuous explanation. My sister’s memory continued to loop approximately every 15-20 minutes. And always the same question: “Who died?” Then followed by the inevitable same shock and grief. If memory shutdown is supposed to protect you from a traumatic emotional event, this was a cruel trick being traumatized over and over again each time she heard news of our father’s death.

At the cemetery, the priest allowed everyone to share a special memory about my father. As we went around the group, my sister got up and spoke quite eloquently and confidently. I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking she had finally solidified the memory, until I remembered that my sister had a fear of public speaking. Her old self would have been turning red, possibly even stumbling for words. This TGA memory looping had somehow blocked her fear of group speaking.

Before we left the cemetery, she was again back to asking, “Who died?” She would not stop until we put her to bed upon arriving home. Sleep finally stopped the looping, but she would never again remember the events of that day. Even now, more than 12 years later, her memory is only of what she was told happened. So just where did her memories go?

I asked her what she last remembered of that day. She told me she was kneeling at the casket in the funeral chapel, saying her goodbyes to our father, when she suddenly felt an “overwhelming wave” come over and engulf her. It caused her to become a virtual blank slate, despite the fact she was able to still physically function—even carry on engaging conversations with people she knew. This was clearly outside the normal “auto-pilot” mode many experience to get through the death of a loved one. While it had some similarities to Dissociative Identity Disorder, my sister had not created an alter personality to cope with the trauma, and she knew who she was and everyone else around her. Memory loss was confined to a specific span of time and any other events which took place in the world during that time. Very selective memory.

According to medical experts:

“Transient global amnesia (TGA), is a benign condition of unknown etiology, characterized by a sudden onset of anterograde amnesia and variable retrograde amnesia. Clinical resolution occurs within 1-24 hrs.; the average duration of the attacks is 6-8 hrs. The minimum annual incidence of TGA is about three per 100,000. The peak incidence occurs between the ages of 50 and 60 yrs. Recurrence is observed in approximately 10% of those affected. In about half of the cases, TGA is precipitated by an emotionally or physically stressful event. An epidemiological relationship with migraine has been established, but the pathophysiological link remains unclear.”

Using SPECT imaging, physicians at the Departments of Neurology and Nuclear Medicine, University of Freiburg in Germany, found that substantial hypoperfusion, particularly in the temporo-basal/temporo-medial region, is regularly present during such a TGA attack. Also observed is a disproportional decrease of temporo-medial oxygen metabolism.

In layman’s terms, TGA can be caused by blood circulatory failure from neurogenic shock. The diameter of the blood vessels increases, the heart slows, and the blood pressure falls to the point where the supply of oxygen carried by the blood to the brain is insufficient. The “overwhelming wave” my sister experienced prior to her TGA is what some of us have experienced during moments of acute fear and/or loss of oxygen, just not as severe to impair neurological memory storage.

My sister has never had any psychological problems, nor does she have any seizure history. She has been prone to migraine headaches over the years, which is sometimes a variable in the history of those having experienced TGA, but not always. What happens in the brain, and the mechanism that decides to trip such a switch in some, and not others, has us all searching for answers.

The human body is a complex and delicate instrument at times. Strange, even bizarre, things can happen to normal functioning under stressful conditions. My sister has never had another incidence of TGA. Thank, God. When my mother died less than two years after my father’s passing, I feared a repeat event. I warned her that if she pulled a TGA and made me go through all that again, I would personally see her buried along with my mother. Just kidding, of course. But she got the picture. It’s good to remember that it’s also quite traumatic for family and friends witnessing someone going through such an event. They feel totally powerless to help. Yet, I have to admit, it’s one of those fascinating experiences most of us could never forget.

Searching for Answers on a Visit to NASA’s JPL

After wanting to see this place for years, I finally managed to secure a private tour of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) through an engineer friend of mine who works there. I’ll let him remain anonymous, just in case anything I say in this blog could potentially embarrass or get him into trouble.

I’ve long been fascinated with space and U.S. expeditions to both the Moon and Mars, and have written blogs on the strange anomalies of both places. After hearing some of my theories, my friend swears that if there is a secret space program, as many believe, his clearance doesn’t allow him access to it. Damn. But, that didn’t stop me from asking lots of probing questions.

JPL is a very cool place. Some of the most interesting science nerds in the country work here. In fact, as I pulled up to the security gate, ahead of me was a long line of pristine vintage cars also entering. I jokingly asked the guard on duty, “Is it take your classic car to work day?” In fact, it was. I passed about 30 of these beauties all lined up on display in front of the main visitor building. The men of JPL were already emerging from buildings to check out the shiny chrome eye candy while others huddled over spotless engines exchanging serious car talk. I was told it was the best possible day to be there. Okay.

JPL is a huge, sprawling college-like campus on a rocky flood plain just outside the city limits of Pasadena, California (although technically it’s located in La Cañada Flintridge). It encompasses 177 acres of U.S. federally owned land, managed by the nearby California Institute of Technology (Caltech) for NASA. The laboratory’s primary function is the construction and operation of planetary robotic spacecraft. While it conducts Earth-orbit and astronomy missions, it is especially responsible for operating NASA’s Deep Space Network.

To give a very brief history… JPL beginnings trace back to 1936 when a group of ambitious Caltech graduate students, Frank Malina, Jack Parsons and Edward S. Forman, decided to experiment with building their own alcohol-fueled rocket motor. In 1941 their little “rocket project” gained the financial support of the U.S. Army. In 1943, this Army facility became known as the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. It’s mission: To build deployed weapons systems and intermediate range ballistic missiles.

One of JPL’s founders, Jack Parsons, would come to be known as the “father of rocketry.” Unfortunately, much of his controversial personal life, mired in occultism, group sexual orgies, black magic, and a close friendship with L. Ron Hubbard, before he created Scientology, would eventually obscure his scientific accomplishments.

In 1954, JPL teamed up with Wernher von Braun and embarked on a classified project that would launch the United States’ first spy satellite, Explorer 1, on February 1, 1958. This led to JPL being transferred to NASA later that year, forever becoming the agency’s primary planetary spacecraft center. With over 5,000 employees, it is clearly its own little spaced out world.

Passing by the back lot, where rover vehicles are tested for terrain adaptability, one can’t help but notice the strange markings on all the vehicles’ wheels. It turns out to be code. NASA told JPL not to put any identifying insignia on their terrain vehicles, so JPL designers found a covert way to put their mark on these interplanetary creations. The three lines of cutout dots and dashes spell out “JPL” in Morse Code.

Next to the back lot was the Mars Curiosity Rover “testbed.” It’s used to simulate commands and test protocols before sending the actual commands to the real Curiosity Rover on Mars. The Rover moves at the painstakingly slow speed of 4.2 cms per second—which means 8.26 feet per minute, 165.2 yards per hour, and over 10 hours to cover just one mile. At that rate it would take forever to map a wide range of the Mars surface. Get the picture? There’s a lot out there we will never see.

I had to ask another question everyone is always asking, about the Curiosity Rover. Why are the optics on these vehicles taking such low resolution pictures when we clearly have NSA spy satellites in space that can zero in on someone’s face down on Earth and show every blemish?

JPL gets their optics from an outside contractor and weight is always a key factor, so I’m told. I guess it’s best to blame it on NASA who first releases the low resolution thumbnail pics to us and then tells us the HD pics will come later. But where are they? You can always find explanations about dust lens caps and Hazcam problems that may make some areas of a photo clear and other objects (that seem more interesting) blurry. If this is indeed the case, they should be able to correct this like they fixed the Hubble Satellite to take clearer pictures.

As long as I’m on the subject… I had to ask why NASA alters the colors of their pictures before posting them online for all to see. Some pictures of Mars are clearly red-tinted. NASA has admitted on numerous occasions that they alter the colors of their pictures so that they look more like what we would see, if we were on Mars. Why?

NASA’s website explains it this way:

“Getting the colors right is not an exact science. Giving an approximate view of what we’d see if we were there involves an artistic, visionary element as well – after all, no one’s ever been there before. However, great pains are taken to be as accurate as possible, short of going there ourselves.

“To give people a sense of being on Mars, scientists combine views through telescopes, data from past Mars missions, and new information from the current mission to create a color-balanced, uniform scene. Color-corrected mosaics simulate the view a person would see if all the images in the mosaic were taken on the same day, at the same moment.

“In addition, the rovers can take three pictures in a row of the same surface area on Mars using three different primary color filters – red, green, and blue – to make one color image.”

“It works a little like an inkjet color printer, which combines primary colors to create various shades on paper,” explains Eric De Jong, Lead for the Solar System Visualization Team at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. “Then, we can tweak the color just like you can adjust the color balance on a TV screen at home.” —NASA, JPL

Since I’ve seen pictures of Mars with blue skies and a neutral beige and, sometimes green, landscape (indicating life), I find the need to “color correct” pictures puzzling. Especially when these same pictures have been marked by NASA as “TRUE or ACTUAL Color.” So what is the REAL true and actual color of Mars? My JPL friend had no answers for this either, but I encouraged him to ask around.

We moved on to the sterile testing areas. JPL must have the largest Faraday cage in existence, reaching almost two stories high. It protects sensitive electronic equipment from external radio frequency interference (RFI). It’s also used to enclose devices that produce RFI, such as radio transmitters, to prevent their radio waves from interfering with other nearby equipment.

Curiosity was flipped upside down for its ride to Kennedy Space Center and carefully wrapped in a portable big, huge bag. That bag not only acted as a Faraday cage, but it kept Curiosity clean during its journey to Florida.

In one administrative building there was a pretty cool light show in the lobby that correlated with real-time information being received from one of their many satellite feeds. Whenever a data transmission was received, light streams travelled down from the ceiling like pulsating digital bits of information. When JPL was transmitting information back to a satellite, the light beams changed course and raced upwards. The transmissions never stopped.

Then there is the famous “Lucky Peanuts” jar that is enshrined in the Mission Control room lobby. NASA/JPL scientists keep it as a “good-luck charm.” This decades-old ritual began after a series of failed missions in the 1960s. Like a ballplayer who wears the same lucky underwear each game, NASA found that eating crunchy peanuts during a launch possessed successful “launch magic.” These guys don’t mess with superstition.

Although I clearly was left with more questions than answers, there is no denying that JPL is a great place to hang out. Even their gift shop had heat-sensitive pencils that change color upon hand contact. Kind of like a mood ring. Being a “hot” item, I promptly bought a dozen.

Adjoining their in-house museum, which is filled with multi-media displays documenting every project they’ve ever designed and put into orbit, I came across staff setting up in their banquet hall for a top brass event that night.

The event was both a food and science project, sort of. On each table was a tray of edible materials—graham crackers, marshmallows, gumdrops, cinnamon sticks, candy canes, and even frosting. This was no children’s party. The woman in charge told me the engineers at each table would be instructed to form a team and build something unusual. I think the prize was a first class trip to Mars. These guys have all the fun!!
